Who doesn't love a bit of monochrome. I have lined up my picks to combat that black and white trend which never goes out of style.

The Scarf. Classic houndstooth pattern, over-sized and super soft. Available at New Look.

The Belt. Faux pony hair thin waist belt. Perfect to addition to a high wasted skirt. Available at Great Plains.

The Trousers. Crisp, tailored white cropped trousers will always be a stapled in anyone's wardrobe and dressed up or down look effortless. Available at Far Fetch.

The Coat. Classic jacquard jacket with a modern pattern. The collarless necklace gives it another edge. Available at Wallis.

The Sunglasses. Over-sized bug like sunglasses are always my fave and with the gold trim on these ones they just add a something, something. Available at New Look.

The Blouse. Wrap over blouses are flattering on all body types, shapes and sizes and this one in black is a staple. Can be worn casual with jean's, boot's and that oversized scarf or dressed up with the tailored trousers or skirt. Available at River Island.

The Sandal. White strappy sandal with the most spectacular chrome heel from Zara. Available at eBay.

The Skirt. A leather pencil skirt makes you feel sophisticated and sexy and gives you another texture in your look. Paired with a mohair jumper or silk blouse it looks chic. Available at River Island.

The Necklace. A statement piece to finish any outfit perfectly. Zara always deliver and this crystal necklace is a perfect addition to the monochrome wardrobe. Available at Zara.

The Clutch. A simple mock croc leather wallet clutch has functionality whilst looking effortless. Available at Selfridges.

The Earrings. Yet again, classic and elegant. A simple, sparkling drop. Available at Swarovski.
