For my first Style Crush feature there was only one person I could mention. And that of course, is the effortlessly chic, Olivia Palmero.
This fashion industry veteran is well known for her on trend, classic style and huge collection of jackets. Olivia has worked for the likes of DVF, Vogue and Elle and is a firm friend of many of the fashion worlds most fabulous. Day and night Olivia manages to put together intricate looks and focus' on layers and key statement pieces.
Whether walking the dog or attending an event Olivia always pulls of 'Olivia'. Her own unique personal style which is just beautiful. Pairing short pleated chiffon skirts with bronzed legs and a half tucked in blouse, american classic crisp white shirt, blue jeans and red killer heels, and making a plain outfit fun with an unusual cut jacket - that is what keeps Olivia on our Pinterest style boards again and again.
Olivia is also great at mixing fabrics and textures. Teaming an intricate lace dress with distressed suede ankle peep toes is genius as it adds another layer and dimension to the outfit. Not being afraid of mixing prints is admirable and something I always try to do but I just can't pull it off like Olivia. And finally, soft fur with tough leather - perfection.
This lady just inspires me to take a risk and experiment and thats what fashion is all about right?
